Cooperatives as a way of participation in political decision-making processes: An Examination over the Turkish Forestry Cooperatives in constitutional terms

In this article, cooperatives were examined on their distinctive structure, questioning whether they can be seen as a way of civil participation political decision-making, by presenting some recent cases from Turkish Forestry Cooperatives. Firstly, the place society in participatory democracies and importance economic social conditions perspective consequently role explained briefly. Afterwards, cooperative’s practical impact decision-making was analysed over instance OR-KOOP including core information forest villagers Turkey —representing community lower facilities— search fundamental necessities for an expected processes. Finally, constitutional significance forests revealed with regard to crossing concepts democracy, sustainable development human rights.
